Hi,
Recently I switched from gnucash to skrooge and I meet very frustrating problem. I have over 10'000 or 15'000 transactions in skrooge. When I add or modify any transactions I need to wait from 5 to 10 seconds to finish operation. Is there any way to improve performance of that operations.

Hi,

I am the main developer of Skrooge.

What is your version of Skrooge?

To help me for understanding why you have so bad performances:
1- Launch a console
2- export SKGTRACEPERFO=1
3- launch skrooge
3- Open the operation table and select one operation
4- In tool menu, reset the profiling
5- Click on "Modify" to modify the operation, this should take 5 to 10s
6- In tool menu, open the profiling. => You should have a new page with text.
7- Send me this text by email (you can find my email in the "About" of Skrooge)

Skrooge version is 2.7.0
I sent you mail with profiling data in file.
I can see that about display operations, the main time consuming is advice, computeBudget and getIncomeVsExpenditure. Is there is a possibility to activate it only on dashboard/budget tab open only?
