Hi,
This has happened at least three times today: while I'm editing my budget record (import and edit operations), Skrooge saves the file but instead of actually saving it, it just writes these 18 bytes: "SKROOGE_DECRYPTE3-" Thus, I lose my data. After the first time I moved the file to a DropBox directory to be able to restore it quickly - and sure enough that became necessary a few more times this evening. Is that a known issue? Is there anything I can do to debug it? Lukasz |

What is your version of Skrooge?
Could you reproduce the issue like this? Form a console: export SKGTRACE=100 skrooge > traces.txt Replay your issue where you save the file. Send me the trace fille if you are not able to load the saved file. Do you have the same issue if the file is not in a Dropbox directory? |

Hi, I'm currently working with Skrooge. I'm going to post the trace file as soon as it fails. So far I got this error message, though:
[ERR-5]: Cannot save file [ERR-4]: Impossible to copy 'file:///home/lukasz/Dropbox/Budget/.budget.skg.wrk' to 'file:///tmp/skrooge.fo4794' [ERR-4]: The file or folder /home/lukasz/Dropbox/Budget/.budget.skg.wrk does not exist. The corruption error happened before I employed DropBox, so yes, it's independent. |

skrooge --version
skrooge 2.8.1 cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/s-mankowski-ubuntu-ppa-kf5-yakkety.list deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/s-mankowski/ppa-kf5/ubuntu zesty main So I have a number of trace files now, but I'd rather not publish them here. Is there a way to send them directly to you? Lukasz |
