is there a way to prevent a given record from being edited ?

If not it would be a very useful feature to prevent changing records by mistake.

The reconciliation (https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragea ... nciliation) is the best solution to hidden operations. Then it will be very difficult to modify operations by error. Moreover, if you try to delete a reconciliated operation, you will have a confirmation panel.
