Hi,

The context is importing data from KMyMoney and I'm having problems with accounts in other currencies besides my base one, which is €.

When I import the QIF of the USD account, Skrooge marks all transactions as done in Euros. What I do is then search for all entries in this account whose unit isn't $ and I change it. The problem is transfer between accounts. For example, I have an entry in KMM from 2011 which was 99€ → $131. Skrooge imported this entry as 99€ → 99€. Is there a way for Skrooge to import the correct values AND units?

Thanks!

Hi,

QIF file format is poor. Indeed, in QIF the currency of operations is not set. So, by using this format, you won't be able to keep the right units.

But this is not an issue in your case because Skrooge is able to import directly the KMyMoney file (.kmy). I recommand you to use this conversion way.

Regards.
