My wife and I want to start using one single skrooge file to get a global overview of our finances. We have separate bank accounts.
Are there any best practices or any "faux pas" that we should know beforehand?

If you want to be able to have report including your accounts and your wife accounts, I must create all account in the same file.
Else, you can have one file per person.
