Scheduled Operations

Wed Jan 03, 2018 9:20 pm
I'm on version 2.10.8 BETA

When I changed Scheduled Operation settings to not create a template when an operation is scheduled, Skrooge updated all entries to a template ("All scheduled operations have been converted in template"). Why is that?

I was able to undo, but I don't understand the logic

Hi,

Scheduled operations can be done by using:
1- The last operation scheduled (This is the case when "create a template when an operation is scheduled" is disabled)
or
2- A template operation (This is the case when "create a template when an operation is scheduled" is enabled)

When, you enable this option, Skrooge will convert all scheduled operation on template just to be able to continue the schedule.

What is strange in your description is that you are saying "When I changed Scheduled Operation settings to not create a template when an operation is scheduled"?
I checked the code, if the option is disabled there is no conversion.
Regards.

I might have made a mistake… I'll check if it happens again
