Using Search and Process Function

Sun Jul 08, 2018 2:04 pm
Me again, still no sounds but am moving on to new issue.

I had noticed l have a few Payees that are the same payee but l had either misspelled or miss named and want to be able to search categories and make changes so that all will have the same title. It would seem a simple "Search and Replace" should do but l am confused as to how this is accomplished.
Many thanks
Dave

I don't really understand the question.
I understand that you have some payees written with different orthography (eg. gogle and google) and you want to clean that.
This is simple, you can do that:
1- Open the payee page
2- Click on one payee (eg. the gogle one)
3- Drag it and drop it on the other one (eg? the google one)

All operation with "gogle" payee will be updated with "google" and the "gogle" payee will be removed.
Regards.

You may not have understood my question but you did answer it!
Thanks
