Running Balance in Tracker View

Wed Feb 13, 2019 12:54 am
Greetings!

Is there a way to add a column for a running balance for operations within the tracker view? When I add the Balance column, that seems to report the balance in the operation's account, not the tracker. How can I see for example the total amount that I need to be reimbursed, or the zero-sum after the reimbursement operation has been logged?

Thanks!

Hi,

In the "Tracker" page, you have an "Amount" column showing the sum of operations associated to this tracker.
This is normally what you are looking for: "total amount that I need to be reimbursed, or the zero-sum after the reimbursement operation has been logged".
Regards.

So I can see the total of the operations as a column in the Tracker view, but no running total as a column when I'm looking at the Operations i.e. transaction details for the tracker -- correct?

Yes. I will analyze to see how I can return the "running total" of a tracker.
This is may be not easy because the tracker is associated to a sub operation, not an operation.

Hi,

I did a modification of code to produce this:
Image

As, you can see:
[*] You can see the running balance of the tracker t1
[*] When an operation has more than 1 tracker, you can see the running balance of all trackers

Is this proposal of enhancement acceptable for you?
Regards.

This looks good to me, at least!
