Hello,

I would appreciate some guidance with regard to setting up accounts, trackers, etc that correspond to managing personal finances and debt. Do I use accounts, wallets, trackers, and how? In particular:

  1. If I am one month behind in rent, how do I show that? And if I pay one rent, how do I show (and track) which month's rent was paid? I want every month's rent to become due (and track it), but not automatically shown as paid, because I may delay (and I want to track this)
  2. I would like to ask how to handle the same situation for a house bill, eg for a mobile phone. I want to input the amount and the due date, after that date it becomes overdue and at some point, I pay this particular bill (not in general "the mobile phone")
  3. Also, how do I set up a loan so that the installment becomes due automatically, but it is not automatically paid? I would like to be able to track the payment of each due installment separately
  4. If someone has borrowed money from me, how do I show that? How do I show that I have borrowed money from someone else? Can I have due dates for repayments that become overdue if not paid?
  5. Is there a way to do weekly budgets?
  6. When I budget an income, but it is delayed (the other party delays my payment), how do I keep track of the amounts they owe me, how much they have covered, how much remains?

Thanks!

I would like to suggest an idea:

I believe it would be very helpful if Skrooge came with a dummy file containing indicative operations, rules, trackers, reports and budgets. A sample file like this would help new users understand how to use the program.

A good start would be, how to set up a scheduled transaction that becomes "overdue" if not executed? How to record it and where will it show?
