Hello,

I've seen that the category and payee name is case sensitive. Some times one types too fast and doesn't realise that there is already a Payee with that name or even a Category, and then a new one is created, what in my opinion does not make any sense.

Could be posible to make both fields case insensitive?

I would even say the same for comments, but maybe in the case of comments there would be cases when one really wants to differentiate.

Thanks

No, this is not possible. But, because the autocompletion is not case sensitive, this should help you to enter an existing category or payee.
In case, you already did the duplicate, you can drag and drop a category (or a payee) on the other one to merge them.
Regards.

Yes, I know I can change afterwards, but sometimes I didn't realise the mistake until I see really weird charts.

I will try to be more aware from now on.

Thanks for the answer.
