Hi,

The download of BCH unit from CoinMarketCap started to fail for me recently. I'm getting:
Code: Select all
[ERR-5]: Download failed

The config I have, which used to work:
Code: Select all
Name: Bitcoin Cash
Symbol: BCH
Type: Currency
No. decimals: 8
Country: Internat
Unit: $
Download Source: CoinMarketCap
Internet Code: BCH

Internet Code of BCH seems to be dead on CoinMarketCap (at least the link https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/BCH/ does not work). So instead I tried to use Internet Code: bitcoin-cash for which URL works https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/. Unfortunately I'm still getting the same error in Skrooge.

Any help on how to correctly configure BCH price download is appreciated.

Thanks,
Janko

Hi,

The API of coinmarketcap are no more free (https://coinmarketcap.com/api/pricing/).
I have to find a solution.

Regards.

Hi,

I did a fix.
You will have to request a free API key to use it (https://coinmarketcap.com/api/pricing/).
Then Skrooge will guide you to set it.

Regards.

Many thanks Stephane!
Will give it a go once Skrooge 2.22.1 hits my repos.
