opt-out accounts from the "accounts" widget in the Dashboard

Hi,

For long time my apartment didn't exist for Skrooge, I simply never modelled it as an asset, but on the other hand I of course included my mortgage, being my overall wealth negative then, even if the apartment increased its worth, being it now much more than when I bought it. So, I decided to include it as an asset, actually as an "object", and included it in a asset account. But now when I open my dashboard including the "accounts (full)" widget, the bars are completely useless as the value of the apartment is much higher than any other account I have.

So, could it be possible to add a way to opt-out an account or type of account from that widget? Or maybe just to remove the graphical representation of the account if it is clearly above the common order of magnitude?

Thanks!

I've seen that in the "Accounts (light)" widget you can select what types of accounts will be shown. That is good but the options should be by accounts and not only by types, as for example if I disable 'assets' my apartment will not be shown, but neither will be my investments, and those I would like to see them

And on a side note, why the font type and size of the widgets 'Account (full)' and 'Account (light)' are not the same? I tried to use the full one to see the comparison between last month with one year before and one month before, and show by its side the 'light' one to show the today's status, but the font type and size are so different that the result is weird and difficult to read.

Thanks

Well, I'm not sure if this has been a change or I simply missed it before, but I've seen now that for the "Accounts (light)" you can choose which accounts to include not only by limiting the account type, but also highlighting them in the account page. So that's perfect, thank you.

We only need it now in the "Accounts (full)" as well.

Thanks once again for this always improving tool.

Hi JM,

I committed a new feature on dashboard allowing to define a "filter" for some widget.
Could you test it and tell me if this covers your need?

Regards.

Hello Stéphane,

well, when I had already written an answer saying it didn't work as I was expecting, I saw that I wasn't building the filer right. So, yes, it works and covers perfectly well my requirements.

I also have to say that the way the filters are built is not 'obvious', but it is actually the same way than in other search across Skrooge, so I guess I just need to get used to them.

Once again, thanks a lot for your work and this fantastic software.
