I've been using Skrooge for about a year now, and use it to track the share price of Standard Life (SLA.L) using the Yahoo download source. When I first set this up, the values coming back from Yahoo were in pence rather than pounds (GBP) so I had to change the share unit to 'p' which I created as £0.01

All has been working well until the 22nd April, at which point the values coming back from yahoo are now 100 times smaller e.g. £202.9 one day is now £2.04 the next. Yahoo's web page is showing the correct price in pence of 204p.

Is this a Skrooge change or a Yahoo change? More importantly, how can I fix this and preserve the historical graph and daily data?
(I'm running Skrooge on Debian Testing)

Hi,

You are right, if I launch this:
Code: Select all
/home/s/Developpements/skrooge/skgbankmodeler/skrooge-yahoodl.py SLA.L 2020-04-20 2020-05-01 1d

I get this:
Code: Select all
Date,Open,High,Low,Close,Adj Close,Volume
2020-04-30,242.699997,242.991196,221.100006,221.100006,221.100006,9272958

Yes, thank you for confirming that it's a Yahoo issue.
As your graph showed, they have now fixed the issue, and by re-downloading all daily values I was able to fix my historical data and preserve the graph.

Many thanks
