Change start/end of months?

Mon Nov 02, 2020 10:39 am
Hello,

I always find it annoying when using reports, that months are cut at 1/31, because a lot of my transactions happen around these dates.
So, each time my salary is a bit late, or I pay my rent a few days early, it messes up all the reports because one month has two salary and one has none.

I would like to be able to ask skrooge to cut months at mid-month (15,16 instead of 31,1) to avoid these effects.

Is that possible?

If this is not possible, is there anyway to move a transaction without messing the automatic import from boobank? I would lie on the date of the transaction so that it’s in the correct month, but I do not want the import to think the transaction is wrong/missing and import it again.

No, this is not possible.

You can change the date of an imported operation because the identification of operations during import is not done on date but on an internal ID.
