After installing a new version of Linux Mint, opening my skrooge file into the new installed version 1.21.1 from 2.11 in previous distro added a 'k' before the units of all the amounts whether they are Euros or CAD. Can you please advise on what happened and how to get rid of this?
Thanks!

The currency formatting is based on your system setting.
Could you check your regional settings ?

Thank you for your answer. Finally back to debian, with Skrooge 2.18.0, the "k" is now "mn" ! And just to be more precise, these letters are added after the amount, rather than before the currency eg "-386,40 mn" "$". So this might not be tightly related to the currency?

Thanks for any clue

From the terminal, could you launch the following command and check how the currencies are displayed ?
