Import and auto reconcilation

Sun Jul 17, 2022 6:35 pm
Hello,

I have already ask some information about import and reconciliation 6 years ago ^-^
I read it and try some instructions again but it is not satisfying :<

The context is that, currently, I enter my account manually and reconciliation manually too.
I can export the entries from my bank corresponding to the reconciliation and then merge every couple one by one.
But it take some time to do one by one, almost the same time than manually.

And even if the imported operation are pointed, this information is not merge. Operation are not pointed after merging...
Perhaps it could be improved ?

I expect something better: during import, point automatically operations that have the same amount and date almost equals (few days, parameter) and delete these imported operation.

Here is a sqlite to get these operations (I try it in debug mode):
I remove the sql code because my post are blocked... >:(

I can compile skrooge (I have a dockerfile to do so).

I see that skrooge can be extented with plugins.
Is it possible to develop a plugin to do such import/reconcile operation ?
If yes, is there some instructions or hints to develop such a plugin ?

a+

Hello,

After digging into the code, I found that there is already an auto-reconciliation function !
This function try to reconciliate imported operations only.
Don't know exactly how it is working, but it try it and the result was fine !

So my request is now more on auto-merge imported operations to existing ones.

As already said, I can only merge one by one: one imported and one existing operation.
The duplicate view help to find such operations.
