Issue with Commit 215398f3

Sun Mar 05, 2023 10:54 am
Hello,

since the change to remove all dashboard but QML Skroge crashes everytime I try to open the dashboard, either the 'default' one (in 'pages' tab) or the bookmark I saved with my own confirguration.

Code: Select all
jesusm@liet:[~]$ skrooge
##WARNING: Attribute Qt::AA_ShareOpenGLContexts must be set before QCoreApplication is created.
KCrash: crashing... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = skrooge path = /usr/bin pid = 12712
KCrash: Arguments: /usr/bin/skrooge
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/libexec/drkonqi

[1]+  Stopped                 skrooge
jesusm@liet:[~]$

Honestly, I don't remember if I was using any other dashboard than QML and I cannot find where that was configured, maybe in the own dashboard screen. If this is the case, and having configured a different type of dashboard causes a crash, we have a problem, because the only way to disable the cause for the crash is opening a page that causes a crash ...

Of course, it maybe is caused by something completely unrelated, but crashing when opening the dashboard immediately after a commit changing dashboard has been pushed, sounds like related.

Thanks

Answering myself to confirm that when going back to 'official' 2.29.0 the issue is fixed, and also that in my configuration I was already using the QML dashboards, so not sure why it is crashing.
