Hello to all.
I have been using Skrooge for a few weeks now. Only, today, a transaction with a value date of 15/05/2023 of an amount of 69 € that I just created is already debited from my balance in Skrooge. I would have understood if this transaction fell before my income next month, but now it's after. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

Have a look to this post, it might be related to the same 'issue' I found some time ago.

Hello, JesusM.
Thank you for your answer. Indeed, there is a family resemblance. For the moment, I will create a fictitious transaction without amount on the current date with the real balance as comment. That way, when it changes, I will make a correction transaction faster than going to my regularization transaction (by the time I have integrated the transactions from my paper bank statements into Skrooge) which is much lower in the transaction list. I thank you again and wish you a nice day.

Hello to all.
This is the big jump. I had a balance of 86,36 €. I added a purchase of 11,99 €. So I find myself with a balance of 996.06 €. I don't see any transaction that would have added this amount to the list. There is a bug.

Hello to all.
After several days, I notice that the balance also changes as soon as an operation in the future is added in the list of operations, whether it was scheduled or not. Have a nice day.

Yes, because the transaction line shows you the new balance after that transaction, whenever it happens. To see the balance at a given date, just check the dates and see the closest to the one you want. |

Hello, JesusM.
I don't understand. Apart from the status of the operations, there is nothing to check on the lines the operations. I have my glasses though.

First of all ... in the transaction list view, do you have the balance column visible? If you have it, you will be able to see the resulting balance after every transaction. So even when as you said the balance is updated even if the added transaction is happening in the future, you still can see the real balance at a given date, just by looking at the last transaction on or before that date. |

Hello JesusM. Since the first transaction on 1ᵉʳ August 2020, the balance column has only shown the exact balance until October 2, 2020 and never again thereafter being almost always in the red exceeding even 4,000 euros while I never had such an amount in my account. Today, for example, it shows a balance 1216.73 euros below the reality.

Problem solved.
I switched to KMyMoney. Now the balance is good. I thank you for the efforts to help me, but we can't fight a ghost in the machine. Happy World Workers Day.
