On the change log for Skrooge I see the following entry:
I just downloaded the latest source from svn and this doesn't seem to work for me. If I import a csv file with investment information for shares purchased, the total amount of each purchase is not correctly imported into Skrooge. For example: I buy 10 shares @ $31.30 per share the total amount should be $313.00, which is what is on the csv file. In Skrooge I'm seeing a total of $292.68. It seems like Skrooge is using the per share price of the last transaction imported from the csv to calculate the total amount for each imported transaction. Could someone else check this to see if you are seeing the same thing? Thanks

Hello Guillaume, No, the issue that I'm seeing is different from that one. My bug is number 209705 which according to the changelog was corrected in the code. As far as I can tell it still works as it did before the fix was applied. If you would like to try to see if it works correctly for you, you can import the file "209705.csv" located in the source code for skrooge. Thanks!

Hi Gumper,
The correction of 209705 is correct for me. Now, when I import your file, the amount of operation is $292.68 because computed on last value of the share. But, the "Original amount" (on tooltip) is $313.00 as expected. I still have to modify "found & group transfer" to support this. |

Thanks for the answer! I didn't think to look at the tooltip. It will be perfect when you get the "find and group transfer" to support the original amount. I'll check out the tool tip as soon as I can get a chance to recompile Skrooge. I'm in the process of getting my system running again. I had a little accident the other day while installing some ATI drivers and had to do a reinstall.
