Hello I'm trying to run Skrooge on Macports I'm using Snow leopard 10.6.8, xcode 3.2.6 and macports 2.0.2.
I'm using KDE4, Skrooge 0.9.97_0, when I launch skrooge from the finder tool, there is no response. I have uninstalled Skrooge and re-installed several times still no joy. Can skrooge be run on KDE 3.5? Regards Kevin |

Hi (not being a Mac user) but what can happen is you can call a program but the O/S is defaulting to current directory, which could be any other directory, hence Skrooge may not be instantiating correctly.
Can you try in a terminal in the Skrooge directory running it eg type in terminal 'Skrooge' Please advise. Thanks. Al. |

Hi Marko
Thanks for responding, I had to withdraw and re-install kmymoney2 on kde3 as I really needed my accounts up to date. However I plan to try Skrooge again with using macports on VMwarefusion on my Mac. Is Skrooge now working on macports? Hopefully you'll here from me in the next few weeks on Macports forums. Regards Linuxstuff ![]() |

Oops, I never noticed this post of yours...
![]() Anyway, I am not using skrooge, since KMM is all I need. On MacPorts there are reoccurring problems with vanishing main menu, but apart from that I haven't tested much with skrooge. |

No problem I went back to KMM, as I started teaching and did not have the time to researh it further. I will try Skrooge at some point in my vmware setup when macports updates gets sorted out.
