When the amount value is red, it means that this value is not correct, so add and modify buttons are disable.

Sometimes, values are considered invalid due to bad settings in "Localization" KDE settings.

Thank you for your help, however location kde settings seems correct, and skrooge 0.9 works fine.
Amount field only accept positive intenger numbers. Decimals are converted, 10,1 to 101; 10.1 to 101. Negative numbers are marked as invalids.

OK, I fixed changing localization kde settings, thousands separator from empty to dot.
