KDE for windows Skrooge .9.1

Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:17 am
Hi my friends from France.
Code: Select all
Off-topic
First commiserations on not getting the Rugby World Cup - so close it was scarey!

Finally KDE for Windows looks like its working; except it wont work on my system. I expect its a change you made between SKG .9.1 and 1.0 beta? On Linux Im using 1.0 beta and when I go to Windows SKG .9.1 I get the following non-informative error:
DB migration from 6.9 to 6.9 failed
DB migration from 1.4 to 1.4 failed.

Hope thats of some use; Ive posted here as others may have same problem.
I'd like to finalise the videos for you, but without the KDE for Win I cant finish it.
Kindest regards,
Alistair.

Hi Alistair,

Skrooge 0.9.1 (linux and windows version) is not able to load a document generated with a more recent version (1.0.0).

I will do a correction to generate a more clear error message.

Regards,
Stephane

Hi hi; is there any method we can use to use the latest version to save an skg file compatible with older version? Possibly this could be an ongoing issue otherwise?

No. A version of Skrooge is able to read all previous versions but is not able to save in a previous version.

May be but this is too hard to do.
In the rarely case where you have this need, you can do an export/import in csv.
