Reporting

Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:32 pm
Two Questions:

1. I believe that I read somewhere that Skrooge uses a separate application for reporting in which I can tweak templates to display the information in the way I would prefer. I see from the drop down menu in the upper right, that it's using the default template.
How do I get/create new templates to use in the Monthly reporting?

2. Under reporting, I tweak my reports the way I want them. I noticed that in the Bookmarks, there are reports that appear to be saved. How do I save my customer report in the Bookmarks so I don't have to recreate it?

Thanks.

Enter a new name in this combo box and type ENTER, a new template will be created and opened in your default text editor.

To create a new bookmark:
1-On bookmark dock: Right click
2-Add bookmark.

Thanks, I was also searching for this. It is not quite clear for user. It is not mentioned in help or anywhere else.
Maybe some button will make that easier, self explanatory and user friendly.
When I've got some time I=ll definitely play with this.

smankowski,

Thanks for your reply.

I was able to create a new text file. (Now I need to learn how it works.) ^-^

I was also able to save my report as a new bookmark.

It took me awhile to figure out that I needed to go to View --> Panels --> Bookmarks to see the dock.

This will really save me a lot of time.

Thanks!

Hi

I would like to create a custom monthly report but I can't find a way.

I have created a new text file but I don't know what to do next.
Could you please help me creating this report?

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Guys,

Modifying the text/html file is not a big deal.
My question is how to add custom reports to it.
I have created a "last 12 months graph" for category 'Utilities > Telephone & Internet' and bookmarked it.

Now, my question is how to embed it in the monthly report?
How can I get the name of the report to put it inside the text file?

Looking forward to your help.

Regrads,
H

I don't think you can add this graph in a monthly report, but you may add it to the dashboard. Could it fit your needs ?
