Hi,

I upgraded to the latest skrooge from the ppa on my Ubuntu.
The newest version 1.1.1 can't open my save:

[ERR-5]: '/home/marci/eles.skg' megnyitása sikertelen.
(~open failed)
[ERR-5]: Adatbázis migráció 1.4 verzióból 1.4 verzióba sikertelen
(~database migration from version 1.4 to version 1.4 failed)
[ERR-10019]: indexed columns are not unique Unable to fetch row
[ERR-10019]: CREATE UNIQUE INDEX uidx_node_fullname ON node(t_fullname)

my previous skrooge came from the stable ubuntu release, but tbh I'm not 100% sure of it.

Now what should I do? Based on the create unique index line, my guess is, I have a name conflict somewhere, I named some category, payee etc. the same?

thanks in advance,
Marci

Hi,

My name is Stephane MANKOWSKI. I am the main developer of Skrooge.
Your issue seems to be due to 2 bookmarks with the same name.

So, you can do that:
1-Load your document with the previous version.
2-Remove/rename bookmarks with same names.
3-Save
4-Install the new version
5-Load the document in new version

Could you send me your document by email (my email is in the about of Skrooge) ? If you do that, I will be able to do a correction.

Regards.

Hi,

I did a correction.
This correction is published in the beta version of my ppa:
http://skrooge.org/ubuntu_installation

Could you test it and tell me if it's OK now?

Thank you for using Skrooge.

Did you test it?
Does it work?

I updated to the latest beta in the ppa.
It definitely works, now opens the saved file without error!

It seems perfectly stable now. Previously Skrooge would routinely crash when jumping to/from different reports. Now it just works! Merci beaucoup :)

Whats the downside of using the beta? Should I return to the stable version? I'm only concerned about data integrity.

thanks again!

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.
You must stay on beta version until the version 1.2.0 version (in some weeks).

Regards.
