is is somehow possible to change appearance of gui back. Like it was in 1.1.1
now in 1.2.0 I don't see which account I've fitlered to view for operations.
So shortly, when I've got operations window/tab now I just see same window, there is no marker or anything that will tell me this is filtered. To see this I have to click on the show button (top left) to see what is chosen.
I usually worked with more tabs open and it was easy to say no which tab I am. Now it's useless. Effectiveness of my work rapidly dropped, to check the account I'm watching I have to click on a button and than look which one is checked (and there is possible to check only one). So I don't know why you dropped select box for that, but that worked just awesome, now it's terrible.
Also to show/hide checked items is now the same problem, before it was just one click and also you see if it's checked right away.

Please consider to put this UI back, or at least give a user option to set it on their own.

Either way thanks for great piece of software you're making. I'll probably sign up for some beta testing or be more interested on what is changing in next versions.

You have some very valid points.

The reason why we changed the behaviour from 1.1 to 1.2 was to
* have more filtering option (reconciled operations for a given period)
* consistency with other tabs that feature such filtering capabilities

So far I see different ways to address your concerns:
1. Move beack to the previous implementation, which I'd like to avoid for aforementionned reasons
2. Add a visual information besides the menu to explain what is inside the filter. Need prototyping as I'm afraid it would clutter a bit too much the interface
3. Something radically different... Ideas welcome And no a setting to switch between old and new behaviour is not an option.

We'll get back to you with some proposals in the next days.

As a workaround to your current efficiency drop, you may save your tabs as bookmarks, and name them accordingly. This is how I've always done it since using Skrooge.

Also I'm missing an option to "hide checked operations > 1 month"
And as I mentioned, you can only chose one option per section (separated by horizontal line) thus the radio option is more like it (not the checkbox).

So I've finally find some time to check the change for real. Actual version (in beta repository) is fine, but what doesn't work (at least for me) is an icon next to chosen filter. I've got the idea to show chosen options in one picture, but the result looks like some random color spots.
All in all it is definitely not helpful nor harmful, but it should be helpful I suppose.
First there are two images in final icon which didn't change at all, thus they are not needed (one of them is checked symbol, the other one is general icon on the background). Which leads us to combine 2 icon (one for operations/temaplates, and one bank icon).
We know how operation/templates icon looks like so the biggest problem are bank icons (user can manipulate with them)
What I imagine is to put big icon of the bank (to be surely recognized) and little icon of a star (templates) whenever I choose to filter templates.
Basically if no account filter applied, displayed icon (big icon) should be one of the template/operations depending on chosen option.
When account chosen, show big bank icon with little star (for templates) or just big bank icon.

But as I mentioned at the beginning, the way it is now, is not really harming.

Yesterday, I did a last change concerning icon of "Show" button.
I think, you will like it!

OK it is almost perfect, but as I mentioned before, there are some states which didn't need an icon.
For example showing all operations didn't really need the check icon.
And to distinguish if there are shown operations or templates you just need one icon. Either it is shown or not.

All other thing works still perfect. Thanks for doing great job.
