search for "comment" field in split operations?

Suppose I create a split operation, e.g. list individual items from a supermarket receipt that belong in different categories and then further identify the items using the "comment" field.

When I then try to search for all operations containing e.g."Milk" in the comment field, Skrooge only shows me the operations having "Milk" in the comment field that are not split operations. It does not show milk purchases from "inside" split operations.

Is this deliberate, a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

In fact, in Skrooge, we have 2 "comment" attributes:
-One on sub operations
-One on the operation

The search & process is searching on the second one only. This is why you are not able to find sub operations.

I will try to find a solution and do a correction for that.

Could you create a bug in tracker to follow this topic?
