Cannot export as QIF on Ubuntu 11.10

Thu Jan 19, 2012 10:05 pm
Hello everyone,

Let me start by saying that I *love* Skrooge. I've been using it for over a year since I migrated from Homebank.

I'm trying to export my data to a QIF file, but Skrooge crashes when it's ~40% done. Here's the output:

$ SKGTRACE=255 skrooge --nofork

(skrooge:4497): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "pixmap",
skrooge(4497)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "view_context" with KXMLGUIFactory!
void DBusMenuExporterPrivate::addAction(QAction*, int): Already tracking action "F&ull Screen Mode" under id 25
skrooge(4497)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "view_bookmarks" with KXMLGUIFactory!
skrooge(4497)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "view_transactions" with KXMLGUIFactory!
skrooge(4497)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "view_properties" with KXMLGUIFactory!
skrooge(4497): couldn't create slave: "Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Unknown protocol ''.
"
KCrash: Application 'skrooge' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit
sock_file=/home/gustavo/.kde/socket-valencia/kdeinit4__0

[1]+ Stopped SKGTRACE=255 skrooge --nofork

QSocketNotifier: Invalid socket 22 and type 'Read', disabling...

[1]+ Exit 253 SKGTRACE=255 skrooge --nofork

Is this because I don't have a full KDE environment?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Could you confirm that you use the 1.2.0 version from my ppa?

Hi, smankowski.

I'm not. I'm using the default repositories.

Cheers.

BTW, I've installed KDE and removed everything under ~/.kde, but the problem persists. :-/

Could you install Skrooge 1.2.0 from my ppa? The version in default repositories is very old.

Do you have an answer? Did you try with 1.2.0?
