Hi, I´ve just find out that a shorcut I was using all the time for fast edition spot working. In a version 1.2.0 the button for fast edition works but the keyboard shortcut (F10) is not. This definitly ruins usability for me. I'm adding a lot of similar operations for same payee, except for amount, so whenever I edit this operation I just change the amount and edit the payee box pres F10 and change the amount and Alt+I to add the operation. This was really fast and great for me, but now the F10 is not working.
I double checked if it is set in application settings, I also check all the global shortcuts to rule out some global short cut overtake it's function. But no luck in there.
I'm also running skrooge on a different distros and machines with the same problem. So my guess is this is a bug in skrooge.

Hi,

It works for me!

Could you check if configured shortcuts are correct?

As I mention before, double checked it. And this happens on two separate machines I've got, with a different systems installed.
I've also tried to change it to different key, but no result.
I run skrooge on kubuntu oneiric and kubuntu lucid. I've never did a change to keyboard shortcut settings. I've got no clue how this happened, but I noticed it week ago, but then I was away from computer (both of them). And yesterday I recall this memory by experiencing it again. Today I tried all morning to figure it out, but no results.

I don't understand. I am not able to reproduce this problem, F10 is working well.
I am on kubuntu oneiric too.
I didn't change anything around "Fast edition" in version 1.2.0.

Could you try with the beta version of my ppa?

If you still have the issue, could you try this?

OK, now I know what is happening and where is the problem.
Yesterday I noticed that edition shortcut works. Later that day it stops again. I was pretty desperate because I know it is working but don't know what was different.
Then I realized it.
Whenever you have opened more than one operation tab, the shortcut stop working. But the button still works. I think there is probably binding problem because there are more forms for edition in a window so nothing happens. Solution could be some condition which checks active tab and does the action bind to a shortcut on the active tab.
Or maybe to bind that shortcut to the fast edition button, that way it could work to (I guess because Alt+I inserts the operation and it is shortcut for a button)
Hope this helps somehow. And I also wait for some improvement, to be able to use the shortcut no matter how many and which tabs I have open at one time.
