Hello folks. I am a big KDE and Qt fan who followed the Plasma Active development closely. Was waiting quite eagerly for the third release , in hope that I will finally get to use it on a daily basis on the Acer W500. At the beginning of the year there were quite the news on the progress made ( new file manager , lock screen ) , but now , for the last two or three months , there has been nothing. No news on any new features to expect or at least an expected date of launch. I've been checking planed.kde regularly and even there all seems quiet on Plasma Active and there is no schedule on the wiki. What is going on ? Is the project loosing interest ? Did it hit any snags ?
Would be thankful to anyone that can enlighten me.

In general, they were waiting to a degree for KDE 4.9 to be released, which has only recently happened.
