The wiki http://community.kde.org/Plasma/Active/Devices#Lenovo_Ideapad_10 lists devices known to work with Plasma Active. I'm looking to buy a (relatively) cheap 10" tablet. The wiki mentions the Lenovo Ideapad 10. Wikipedia says that Lenovo has used the Ideapad name in multiple devices, including a laptop from a few years ago. Apparently they have several 10" tablets with the Ideapad name.
So my question is, can I install it on this thing: http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Ideapad-130422U-10-1-Inch-Tablet/dp/B0051OKCHG That's the K1. It has a different processor than the one listed in the wiki, which leads me to believe it isn't the right one. It looks like I can get it used for under $250. I'm assuming that I would have to wipe out its existing OS. Failing that, what would you recommend as an alternative 10" tablet in the $250 ballpark? Used is OK. |
