Hello,

I bought a Dell Xps One 27. It has a 27" 10 finger touchscreen. Currently there is not much support for gestures and multitouch in linux.
It seems plasma active has a nice feature set. So would I be able to compile the plasma-active on Debian wheezy / kde 4.8.4 ?

I have tried, but currently stuck at:

-- Found automoc4: /usr/bin/automoc4
CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindKActivities.cmake:29 (find_package):
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "KActivities"
(requested version 6.0.0) with any of the following names:

KActivitiesConfig.cmake
kactivities-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "KActivities" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
"KActivities_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If
"KActivities" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it
has been installed.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
CMakeLists.txt:7 (find_package)

Thank you

KActivities is a new component to kdelibs, which is shipped separately. It is probably "libkactivities" or similar on your system, if available.
You can get the sources for it from KDE Git as usual, it is in the "kactivities" repository.
