I would like to install Plasma Active on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 but as a dual boot with Android. Is this possible? How would I go about doing this?

What exactly do you want to install? KDE? Have you got Linux on your Android device already? If not, which distro are you after? I believe there is a Debian installer for Android in the market.

I'm confused. I want to install Plasma Active - is this not possible? I want to have a dual boot (or whatever the correct terminology is) to be able to run either Android or Plasma Active (and NOT Plasma Active running inside Android).

Installing on ARM-based tablets is still in the early days. Here are two articles about successes. The Plasma Active team is still working on smoothing out installation on ARM devices.

Plasma Active folks watch the forums. So if anyone has useful ideas, they will reply to your post.

Complicating factor...mainstream Plasma Active Two was released yesterday. Getting ready for that and then handling the follow up has gotten most of the attention.
