Cursor and Wacom problem

Thu Jan 05, 2012 10:08 pm
I 'm trying to run PA2 on my thinkpad x200 tablet (convertible notebook - tablet) . I am running the balsam pa2 version from a live usb and have two main problems

I don't see a cursor and cannot activate it according to the faq (since it's meego only)

and second, the wacom tablet does not respond (it is pencil tablet, with hover capability). on any normal linux install, touchscreen works out of the box

any suggestions would be helpful

Have you tried to remove the plasma-mobile-mouse package as described in the faq? Balsam is based on OpenSuse, if removing plasma-mobile-mouse does not work maybe there is a file /etc/sysconfig/ to configure the mouse cursor theme.

yes I tried, the answer was that there is no such package. Will look into mouse configuration, but I am afraid that my knowlegde in tinkering with the system config is limited :(

Try this command to find the mouse package (it will take some time to finish):

rpm -qa | grep -i mouse
