Hey Everybody, developers especialy.
I would like to ask You about synchronisation through my all kde devices, I mean I would like to have the same stuff on my laptop, pc and tablet. I use kde with kubuntu on my komputer. I have there: a lot of contacts and phone numbers in my address book, a lot of events on calendar, a lot of mails in my kmail, a lot of contacts in thelepathy, etc. I would like to ask You Is there any chance to synchronise this stuff throught kde devices. Right now it is pc and laptop. But soon I will by smart phone or tablet and I would like to have on it kde. Please tell me how to synchronise devices, or if there is no such an option, tell me did You consider to develop such a functionality??? Write back please. all best and thanks for a great JOB |

It's not all perfect yet, but it looks to me like the answer to this is imap email + ownCloud + Mirall (the beta ownCloud sync client).
* You would use Mirall to sync your files via ownCloud. * ownCloud's LDAP to sync your contacts and phone numbers * ownCloud's Caldav to sync your calender(s) * imap to access your email anywhere * your telepathy contacts all come from Telepathy's remote services anyway. Be aware that while all of these exist now, that some of it is very beta atm (like Mirall) |
