Gvenview take up lots of RAM and then grinds to a halt when watching more pictures.

What i noticed is that pictures that you turn arorund (e.g. landscape to portrait) are temporarilly saved (to ram?!). i just want to view the pictures not edit them, so when i turn them i dont' want ti to save them anywhere. is there a way to disable this function? i couldn't find it.

There is no way to turn this option off at the moment.
