I started using Fedora 17 KDE yesterday and was happy to find Gwenview being just like Irfan View I always used in Windows.
The only problem I have is that when using my mouse wheel to scroll through the images in a directory, when I get to the last image, I can not continue to scroll to jump back to the first image in the directory. If I start a slide show for the directory, then I can check the box for Looping and then it will loop back to the first image when it automatically continues to the next image, but not when I use the mousewheel. It seems that Gwenview does not have an option to enable this. However, since the slideshow automatic interval can do it, it really should not be that difficult to enable the same thing for manual scrolling, using arrow keys or the mousewheel. In Irfan View, there's an option to enable it. I don't want to have to activate slideshow and wait the 5 second interval every time I reach the end of a directory. Is the option to enable it hidden somewhere or is there some dirty plugin or ini-modification that can enable it? Gwenview looks really good and I want to keep using it, but this is really very inconvenient. |

Hi,
There is no such option right now. What you can do is press the "Home" key to go back to the first image when you are at the end. |
