I run raspberry pi with gwenview 2.8.4.
In fact I'm looking for any app which could be able to run slideshow on tree folder with random choice.
I put all my photos on tree like :
/photos/200x/2000
/photos/200x/2001
/photos/200x/2002
and then in each year, i put some other folder and sub folder : so lot of folder.
It easy to sort and retrieve but the challenge is to randomly display all photos.

It is possible to do that with gwenview (or another app) ?

There is unfortunately no recursive slideshow support in Gwenview (yet).

You could achieve what you want by writing a script which would create a symbolic links for all your images in a single folder, then start Gwenview slideshow from there, but that is quite hackish.
