Problem with rotating image

Mon May 13, 2013 9:18 am
Hi, I have problems with rotating images.
For example, the first click on the gwenview icon "rotate right" works, the second click does not rotate the displayed image. But the image gets distorted instead of rotated. But in the preview panel the image is rotated correctly.

This occurs with Gwenview 4.10.2 under openSUSE 12.3

This foto shows the result of clicking two times on "rotate right". The displayed image is distorted and it is different from the image in the preview panel:

Hope, somebody can help me.
Thank you in advance
Ferdinand

I confirm this bug, I am going to look into it. It is "just" a visual issue: the image has been correctly rotated. A workaround for now is to force Gwenview to redraw the image. One can do this by zooming in and out (Use "f" to toggle zoom-to-fit on/off for example), or just going to the next image then back.

Thank you for answering me.
Of course there are several possibilities to work around. But I think we agree that this bug should be fixed because the gwenview users will get confused by this behaviour.

Best regards from Austria

I just fixed the bug in the upcoming Gwenview 4.10.4.
