gwenview (KF5) compilation failure

Thu Aug 28, 2014 4:43 pm
Hi,
When I'm trying to compile gwenview from git, I'm getting following error:
Code: Select all
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:48 (find_package):
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "KF5" with any of
  the following names:

    KF5Config.cmake
    kf5-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "KF5" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "KF5_DIR"
to a directory containing one of the above files.  If "KF5" provides a
separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed.

kconfig is installed, also, the cmake file of kconfig is KF5ConfigConfig.cmake. Can someone please explain what I'm missing here? Normally configures show that they found "KF5" at the end of all other packages, I assumed that just meant that all necessary frameworks packages are found. I am currently using frameworks 5.1, I could selectively upgrade one or a few packages, if necessary.

This is happening to me as well. I though that upgrading to 5.2.0 would fix that, but no luck. I cannot build kde-workspaces because of this.

Which KF5 development packages have you installed?
