Using Gwenview v5.0 on Kubuntu 15.04 KDE Frameworks 5.9 with the latest 5.3.1 Plasma updates.
Problem is I cannot access any folders. Running from a console gives the following -

Code: Select all
jim@laptop:~$ gwenview
kf5.kiconthemes: "Theme tree: (Breeze)"
Invalid pixmap specified.
QTimeLine::setDuration: cannot set duration <= 0
"URL cannot be listed
trash:/"
Invalid pixmap specified.
QTimeLine::setDuration: cannot set duration <= 0
Invalid pixmap specified.
QTimeLine::setDuration: cannot set duration <= 0
Invalid pixmap specified.
QTimeLine::setDuration: cannot set duration <= 0
"URL cannot be listed
trash:/"
kf5.kservice.sycoca: Trying to open ksycoca from "/home/jim/.cache/ksycoca5"
Invalid pixmap specified.
QTimeLine::setDuration: cannot set duration <= 0
"URL cannot be listed
trash:/"
"URL cannot be listed
trash:/"
Request for unknown property "X-KDE-Protocol"

Has anyone come across this problem or able to offer advice - this is rather outside my current level of knowledge.
Thanks

SOLVED - in that an update has resolved many of the problems. AIUI Gwenview & Kipi-pkugins are still in transition to KF5/QT5 so patience is needed.

I have the same problem on Lubuntu 15.04. This makes Gwenview essentially unusable for me. Why was it released in this state? It was working fine in 14.04.
