I reported a bug back in September:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352230 but there hasn't been any action or response. Here's the issue. I get a very regularly occurring segfault when clicking the 100% button to "view a document at its actual size". The bug occurs roughly 80% of the time. Bug also occurs when using the plus and minus buttons to zoom the image, although less frequently. Unfortunately I use Gwenview for hours a day, so not being able to use these buttons means I have to click on the zoom slider to increase or decrease the image size. Gwenview does not crash when click or using the slider to zoom. Here is the crash report:
It looks like a bug in Qt, but I'm not very good at reading these things. Does anyone have any ideas for addressing this problem? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
try installing the dev package of liblcms2 ... should be named liblcms2-dev or similar. After that, the backtrace should be more complete (the first two lines in the Thread 1 section). Please add that new backtrace to the report. ... Not sure if Gwenview is actively maintained at the moment. So there might not be any answer. You might want to file a report with your distro packagers. They might know of crashes in some combination of applications with liblcms2 or so. Regards, Frederik |
