The Gwenview can be started from the command line with options:
Code: Select all
$ gwenview --help
Usage: gwenview [options] url
An Image Viewer

Options:
  -h, --help                 Displays this help.
  -v, --version              Displays version information.
  --author                   Show author information.
  --license                  Show license information.
  --desktopfile <file name>  The base file name of the desktop entry for this
                             application.
  -f, --fullscreen           Start in fullscreen mode
  -s, --slideshow            Start in slideshow mode

Arguments:
  url                        A starting file or folders

The Freedesktop has an autostart specification: Autostart Of Applications During Startup - https://specifications.freedesktop.org/ ... 01s02.html

The KDE is following the Freedesktop specifications so there is an option to start applications from the KDE system settings > Startup and Shutdown > Autostart

Paths etc. with the:
$ gwenview -v
org.kde.gwenview 16.04.1

Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.6.5
Distro: Arch Linux

Hi.
Wow, I not take a long time, not many years using linux, but I think enough to have thought about the possibility of seeking help on command line, and had not fallen into the option to seek help on command line program.

Thank you very much for your attention and help, I can configured start up with slideshow with the folder that I want appears in slideshow.

Again, thank you very much!!!!

Hi,
During this days, all ok with this issue, but I have other, with this mode, I can't configured Gwenview for slideshow with across the width of monitor, for view the images with across the widht of monitor.
I stop de slideshow, configure Gwenview for real size, or enlarge image, but when restart the computer, again, the images appears only a central part of monitor, not with the across the widht of monitor.

Its possible change this?

Thanks and regards!

PD: The images are bigs.
