show focus point in picture

Sun Sep 16, 2018 12:24 pm
Hi !
When scanning through my pictures, I would like to see the focus point the camera used upon a key press. I have not found such a key in the manual.
The focus location information should be available either in the raw format or also in the jpg produced by the camera? exif seems to have "focus position" as a stored value - does this indentify the focus point - maybe in conjuction with the camera type?
Thanks for consideration! Christian

Have you checked out Digikam? It's focused more on digital photo management, and would more likely have this feature.
If not, I'd suggest proposing the new idea over at bugs.kde.org

Just installed digikam, but cannot find a feature to show focus points in the picture during review.
