When attempting to install plugins , Discover returns the following message:

Sorry... Couldnt open appstream://photolayoutseditor.desktop

How do I get the plugins?

I don't have enough info to tell you where exactly the problem is in you case, but I just solved the issue by installing KIPI.

Assuming you are using Ubuntu with apt, you can try this:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install kipi*

Or you can be careful and search first...

Code: Select all

apt search kipi

...and then install what you found.

Thanks! There three packages. I had to install all of them and restart Gwenview.
