Gwenview background color

Mon Nov 01, 2021 12:52 pm
Anyone happen to know where the file for gwenview's background color settings is located? If possible I'd like to change a color option.
Plasma 5.22.

Like all other KDE applications Gwenview follows the Plasma Color scheme in use. If you change the background color there it will be reflected in Gwenview, but also in all the other applications with the same default background.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Re: Gwenview background color  Topic is solved

Yes, it does. Made this "fab" fluorescent green and orange color scheme to check. The darkest setting kinda remains unchanged though. It's just that, with these new background settings, working with same colored images makes it...not handy. A complete black option, for example, would do a better job at that. O well, no biggie.
