Hello,

Debian 11 stable
up to date Gwenview 4:20.12.3-2 from main repository.
KDE up to date 5.20.5

On the shortcut setting page i click zoom in, custom shortcut radio button, click the button, push the + or - key, it shows Num - or Num + then i click elsewhere or hit enter, but it newer write the shortcut into the table of shortcuts and shortcut does not work. Default shortcut is written though. I think that most editors use +/- or mouse wheel, but this editor no... :'(

I had same problem in archlinux, then i found where shortcuts are saved:
/home/username/.local/share/kxmlgui5/gwenview/gwenviewui.rc
I changed lines about zoom and actual size shortcuts:
Code: Select all
...
 <ActionProperties scheme="Default">
...
  <Action name="view_actual_size" shortcut="/"/>
  <Action name="view_zoom_in" shortcut="+"/>
  <Action name="view_zoom_out" shortcut="-"/>
  <Action name="view_zoom_to_fit" shortcut="*"/>
...
 </ActionProperties>
...

If you want mouse wheel to zoom in and out, you can set it from ui:
Configure Gwenview -> Image View -> Mouse wheel behavior: Zoom

Have a happy day with Gwenview :)
