When I change image and then I save it under differrent name Gwenview shows me that I didn't save some images so I click "Save" and changes are saved in original image too. I didn't want this. I thought that it only saves changes in "saved as" image. Now "saved as" image is the same as original one. It's as I lost it.

What I do is I ignore the drop notification that comes immediately after making the change and click "Discard changes" when I exit. That should leave the original file unchanged.
If you feel that gwenview should not show changes to the original image upon saving it by some other name, you may file this as a "feature request" at http://bugs.kde.org so that the developers can take a look at it. |

I would think that's not a feature request, but an actual bug. The standard and acceptable application behavior is to NOT save to the original file if it has already been saved to a different name. POLA is a perfectly valid criteria for a bug.
