gwenview file associations

Mon Apr 27, 2009 7:35 am
I accidentally deleted gwenview's entry in KMenuEdit, so now I lost file associations to it. Is there a way to put them back easily? Besides, what does it say on the "command" box in Kmenuedit?

gwenview %u ? gwenview %i ?

You will be able to revert the deletion by ensuring that any files named gwenview* are removed from the following locations:
Code: Select all
$(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/applnk
~/.local/share/applications/

You may need to remove any kmenuedit* files also.

Then run this command to have your changes picked up:
Code: Select all
kbuildsycoca4
