Since KDE 4.1.0 (and some earlier snapshots), I have had troubles with Gwenview. If I open a photo inside a folder with a lot of pictures, say e.g. 300, then I can view them perfectly, in any view mode, but only for a while. If I wait too long just viewing them, Gwenview takes the whole system and I can't do anything but turn off the computer by brute force. Normally what I do is start viewing the pictures and restart Gwenview 10 minutes later, and so on. It is kind of annoying. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Can you please retest under KDE 4.2 and see if this still happens? If it does, can you please check for, and if one does not exist, file a bug report at bugs.kde.org? Thanks

At that time,I don`t have no problem with Gwenview.
You should tell others what PC and hardware you are using, that is very important ,every system is different ;)

Glad to hear you appear to be having no problems. If this issue has been resolved, could you please mark it as solved? Thanks in advance.

The problem was likely fixed in KDE 4.2. Marking the thread as solved.
