If I am looking at a collection of images in the browser view and then click on the image it opens the image. To get back to the browser view I then have to use the button on the toolbar. In digikam clicking on the background in the image view also goes back to browser view.

This seems quicker and more natural than a toolbar button. Could this be added to gwenview?

thanks

Never thought about this. I am a bit afraid of triggering it accidentally though. Need to think about it. Meanwhile you can also use the Escape key to go back to browse mode.

I agree this might be easy to do by mistake. Maybe a nearly transparent button in one of the corners or something might be better.
